Naomi Bell Masterson

Obituary Naomi Bell Masterson, 81 of Coweta, Okla. went to be with the Lord on September 11th,2018 after a long & hard fought battle against Alzheimer's disease. She passed away at home where she lived with her daughter who was her caregiver until her death. The last few years of Naomi's life Vickie's husband, David helped to be a caregiver too. She was born in Coweta, Okla. on December 10th,1936 to David & Hermy (Keel) Dill. She was raised on a farm with her 3 brothers & 1 sister. Growing up, she helped her parents milk cows, chop & pick cotton. She also helped her mother make a garden. After graduation from Coweta High School she became a nurses aid and worked at St. Francis Hospital. In the summer of 1956, she married Roy G. Masterson. After having children, she became a stay-at-home mom & homemaker. She became a widow in 1979. She was a loving mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. She help raise one of her granddaughters. Before she got Alzheimer's she loved spending time & helping take care of her 2 great grand children, Zackrey & Lillie. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2008. Naomi was preceded in death by her husband Rev.Roy G. Masterson, infant son Roy G. Masterson JR, her parents David & Hermy Dill, one brother Paul Dill, one daughter, Joyce Masterson & one granddaughter, Shauna Masterson. She is survived by her loving daughter Vickie Masterson,& her husband, David Carlile of Coweta, one son, Charles Masterson & wife Anita Masterson, of Coweta, brother Joe Dill and his wife Anita of Coweta, brother Edward Dill and his wife Pat of Coweta,sister Ruby Wilkinson of Edmond. granddaughter Bailey Masterson of Broken Arrow, great grandson Zackrey Hatcher of Coweta & great-granddaughter Lillie Phillips of Coweta plus many nieces & nephews.
