Obituary Connie Gail (White) Douglas, 62 year old Broken Arrow resident, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 8, 2014 at Sherwood Manor Nursing Home in Tulsa, OK. She was born on Dec. 17, 1951 in Coweta, OK to Fred James and Wanda Mae (McMillian) White. Connie was a 1970 graduate of Owasso High School. She and Larry Ray McCoy were married on Apr. 9, 1999 in Eureka Springs, AR. Connie worked at AVIS car rental as a phone operator until she retired. She was also a homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family always cherishing their times together. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, decorating, collecting victorian items and spending time with her grandchildren. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Wanda White and 1 sister, Sharon Stone. Connie is survived by her husband, Larry McCoy of the home in Broken Arrow, OK; 3 sons, Chris Douglas of Broken Arrow, OK, Chad Douglas and wife, Susan, of Broken Arrow, OK and Coy Douglas of Broken Arrow, OK; 1 sister, LeAnn Gash and husband, Greg, of Oologah, OK; 4 grandchildren, Dustin, Joshua, Jordan and Emily; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Monday, Oct. 13, 2014 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home with the family greeting friends from 6 PM - 8 PM. Funeral services celebrating Connie's life will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Marvin Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Pallbearers are Chris Douglas, Chad Douglas, Coy Douglas, Dustin Douglas, Paul White, Dale White, Ronnie White, Paula Darnell and Chris White.
