Terry Baucom

Obituary Terry Ray Baucom, age 50, resident of Porter passed away on October 29, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. Terry was born on March 9, 1960 in Escondido, CA to Harlen Dee and Joann Loraine (Thomasson) Baucom. He attended Coweta Public Schools. Terry and Karen Rubert were married in June 1977 and to this union they had one child, Crissi Kay Beaumont. Terry and Karen later divorced. He then married Deana Miller on August 8, 1987 and to this union they had two children, Brian and Sydney Baucom. Terry and Deana also later divorced. He worked as a self-employed truck driver and he also worked as a heavy equipment operator at Silver Spur Construction Company in Haskell, OK for over 10 years. Terry enjoyed fishing, riding horses, helping other people and he loved spending time with his family. Terry is survived by his four children, Crissi Kay Beaumont of Lahoma, OK, Adam Wesley Bryant of Coweta, OK, Brian Ray Baucom of Porter, OK and Sydney Lyn Baucom of Porter, OK; his parents, Harlan and Joann Baucom; his two brothers, Frank Baucom and his wife, Mary, of Porter, OK and Eddie Baucom of Porter, OK; his two sisters, Leona Williams and her husband, Jerry, of Porter, OK and Lanette Baucom of Coweta, OK; two grandsons, Blaine Baucom and Joshua Beaumont; special friend, Terri Sutton; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends. Terry was preceded in death by his Grandpa and Grandma Baucom, his Grandpa and Grandma Thomasson, one aunt, Nina Thomas, one niece, Rena Williams and one cousin, Crystal Dallas. Funeral services for Terry will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Porter Free Will Baptist Church in Porter, OK with Rev. Bobby Jenkins officiating.
