Susan Errett Joyce

Obituary Susan Errett Joyce, 80, of Coweta Oklahoma, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 28th, 2018. Susan will be deeply missed and tenderly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Mickey; her two sons, Marc and David; granddaughters, Jessica Halliburton and Oksana Brown; and her grandson, Aric. She was preceded in death by her two daughters: Suzette Stevens and Jacque Cody, her mother: Pauline Errett, and her father: Henry Errett. Susan will also be remembered by her numerous friends and members of her church family. Susan was born in Espanola, New Mexico on Christmas Day, 1937. She attended High School in Espanola before moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico where she met her husband, Mickey Joyce. They married October 4th, 1958 and remained together for life. Susan worked as a bookkeeper, and accountant for most of her career, but also ran a successful real estate firm in Tulsa, where she moved with her husband in 1964. After retirement, she spent 4 years traveling the country with Mickey, visiting every state in the continental U.S. Upon their return to Tulsa in February of 1998, they took residence in Coweta, and soon joined the Coweta Assembly of God, where they have remained since. She was a devoted mother and wife and a faithful servant of the Lord and of the church. As an active member of the Coweta Assembly of God congregation, she led several prayer groups and was an integral part of her husband Mickey's ministry: King's Kitchen, which provides hot meals to those in need throughout Coweta. Susan touched many people, changed many lives for the better, and served the Lord her whole life since she accepted Jesus as her savior at the age of 19. A memorial service celebrating Susan's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 5th, 2018 at the Coweta Assembly of God, 29707 E. State Hwy. 51, Coweta, OK 74429. Pastor Steve Lee will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Susan to the Coweta Assembly of God or King's Kitchen.
