Shayron Nichelle Brown

Obituary On July 1, 1996, a beautiful baby girl was born to Edwena Michelle Brown and Wendell Hines. Ruby Curry named her Shayron. Shayron was baptized by Rev. Janey and became a member of First Baptist Church of Redbird at an early age. Shayron had a way of melting people's hearts with her million-dollar smile. Her paw paw (Alfred Curry) was one of these people who fed her meals until the age of 4. She was one of the apple's of her father's eye. She even went hunting with him a few times. At a young age, she went to summer youth camp at Abundant Rain Ministries under Pastor Ron Spradlin and helped work in the world outreach center. She attended school at Porter, Haskell, Central, Job Corp. and most recently Virginia College. On June 6, 2016, Shayron was blessed with a baby boy, she named him Qualyn. There was a bond of love between the two that I have never seen between a mother and son. On September 5, 2017, God needed another beautiful flower to enhance his lovely garden and after receiving his garden he chose Shayron. Shayron was preceded in death by 1 child and her grandparents, Cecil & Luticia Brown. She leaves to cherish her memory the love of her life, Arin Barnes, her precious son, Qualyn Demarko Barnes, her mother Edwena Michelle Brown-Mayfield (Arvin) of Haskell, OK, her father Wendell Hines of Redbird, OK, 4 brothers Wendell Jr., Kendall, Kevon and Xazaveon, all of Coweta, OK, 3 sisters, Jocelyn of Tulsa, OK, Shandell and Shalyn of Redbird, OK, grandparents, William Walters (Charlene) of Memphis, TN, Alfred & Ruby Curry of Redbird, OK, one great grandmother Bertha Hamilton of Redbird, OK, 2 great grandfathers, John Edward Watters of Batesville, MS and John Lewis of Milwaukee, WI, 2 uncles, Walter Williams (Mary) and Clayton Brown (Anita) both of Tulsa, OK, 2 uncles from Memphis, TN, 1 aunt Marquita Brown of Beggs, OK, 2 nephews Keymonnie and Corey Griffin, both of Coweta, OK, 1 niece Keyasia Griffin of Coweta, OK, 2 childhood friends Keelia Menefee and Tiona Mayes, 4 childhood aunts Bernita Wilson, Angela Griffin, Kim Manns-Bates and Karen Manns that she could depend on them if she needed them, and a host of extended family and friends.
