Royale Reid

Obituary Royale Lei Reid of Broken Arrow, OK, age 49, a loving and caring mother, sister and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, May 29 2012 at her home in Broken Arrow, OK. Royale was born on August 17, 1962 in Santa Ana, CA and was the daughter of Donald Leroy and Norma Jean (Faull) Silvis. Royale was united in marriage to Jerry Scott Reid on February 14, 1986 in Coweta, OK. Royale was a homemaker and also a stay at home grandmother. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Royale enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, doing yard work, collecting antiques, gambling, playing bingo, going to garage sales and she always wanted to be an interior decorator. Royale is lovingly survived by her husband, Jerry Reid; her two sons, Justin Reid and wife, Amanda, of Broken Arrow, OK and A.J. Newbanks of Bixby, OK; her two daughters, Jodi Lalicker and husband, Matt, of Broken Arrow, OK and Jessica Reid of Broken Arrow, OK; her sisters, Dawn Cline and husband, Cliff, of Huntsville, AR, Vicki Newbanks of Kissee Mills, MO and Melynda Girkin of Broken Arrow, OK; her brother, Chet Hill of Hulbert, OK; her six grandchildren, Jordan Reid, Jaxon Reid, Grace Lalicker, Jasper Reid, Madalynn Lalicker and Maycee Gates; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Royale was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Deborah Lynn Wilson and Shawndale Marie Scism. Funeral services for Royale are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Monday, June 4, 2012 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK. Burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery. Viewing will be on Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Justin Reid, A.J. Newbanks, Matt Lalicker, Chet Hill, Jared Gates and Joe Leos.
