Obituary Paul Richard Holt, Sr., age 81, resident of Broken Arrow went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday afternoon, August 15, 2017 at his home in Broken Arrow, OK. Paul was born on December 12, 1935 to Johanna F. (Forster) Holt and Harvey H. Holt, Sr. in Tulsa, OK. He was a 1954 graduate of Union High School in Tulsa, OK. Paul married the love of his life, Vicki Ruth Sims on May 10, 1969 in Tulsa, OK. He owned and operated Holt Packing Company in Tulsa, OK for over 50 years. After retirement, he worked as an area representative traveling the United States for Winnebago Industries. Paul was also a cattle rancher. He was a member of Clearview Baptist Church in Broken Arrow. He was also a member of Green Country Winnies, Okie Bagoes and Sooner Scooters. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Joan McPherson. Paul is survived by his wife of 48 years, Vicki Holt of the home in Broken Arrow, OK; 2 sons, Scott Holt and wife, Shelley of Broken Arrow, OK and Paul Holt, Jr. and wife, Jolee of Broken Arrow, OK; 1 brother, Harvey H. Holt, Jr. and Betty of Broken Arrow, OK; 4 grandchildren, Katelyn Holt, Alex Holt, Seth Holt and Sienna Holt; 1 brother-in-law, Mike Sims and wife, Barbara; 1 sister-in-law, Clara Sims; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8 PM. Services celebrating Paul's life will be at 1 PM on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Clearview Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, OK with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK. Pallbearers are Rick Wheaton, Seth Holt, Patrick Sims, Raymond True, Mike Sims and Brian Holt.
