Obituary Julie A. Young, age 59, of Coweta, Okla. was born on January 12, 1957 in San Antonio, Tex. and was the daughter of Alan Woodrow and Elizabeth "Liz" Wilson. Julie went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday afternoon, April 5, 2016 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla. Julie was a graduate of Coweta High School. She and Tom E. Young, Jr. were united in marriage on August 24, 1976 in Coweta, Okla. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 20 years. She also worked at Coweta Quick Change and La Ferry's Propane. Julie was a member of New Home Freewill Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Okla. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, canning and she loved cooking for her family. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Alan Woodrow and Liz Wilson and 1 granddaughter, Madyson Young. Julie is lovingly survived by her husband of 39 years, Tom E. Young, Jr. of the home in Coweta, Okla.; 2 sons, Alan Young and wife, Jessica of Coweta, Okla. and Tom Young of Round Rock, Tex.; 2 brothers, Fred Wilson and wife, Becky and Doug Wilson; 2 sisters, Beverly Bruce and husband, Wilford and Linda Kantor and husband, Jon; 5 grandchildren, Jayme Young, Jacob Young, Shane Young, Rhiannon Young and Audrey Young; 2 brothers-in-law, Joe Young and John Young and wife, Patty; 1 sister-in-law, Claudia Reynolds and husband, Roger; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Viewing for Julie will be from 10 AM - 8 PM on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Funeral services celebrating Julie's life will be at 10 AM on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at New Home Freewill Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Okla. with Pastor Charlie Levi and Pastor Frank Edens officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Pallbearers are Alan Young, Cody Cunningham, Steve Whitlock, Joe Gist, Tim Young and Mark Young. Honorary Pallbearer will be Joe Young.
